Greetings.

I am a design strategist, researcher, and creative. I worked alongside health specialists to define visual methods to reach high-risk polio populations in Afghanistan. I teamed up with government officials in Papua New Guinea to design urgent outbreak response material. I developed games to teach food nutrition in rural Myanmar. In a previous life, I taught computer design to high school students and wrote long papers on the state of feminist art in Palestine. Curiosity and creativity define my artistic core, while my drive and dependability make sure that I get things done.

I am from the the midwest, where I grew up among corn and cows. I have also spent time living in Myanmar, Thailand, Uganda, New York, and the central coast of California. I currently call Brooklyn home.

Besides pushing pixels I am a plant whisperer, obsessive interior (re)decorator, avid composter, and aquatics competitor.

PROCESS

Whether building a brand from scratch or developing experiences that connects clients to audiences, it is important to remain mindful of the big picture. I am passionate about the intersection of design and content and its relationship to improving the functionality of the spaces that we exist. The balance I strive for in my work is to engage, be impactful, and be empathetic.

“You have to notice before you can address.”
