About This Project
The Gender Equality Network (GEN) is made up of 100 civil society organisations and NGOs working on women’s rights across Myanmar. In 2016 they launched a ground-breaking report, Raising the Curtain: Cultural Norms, Social Practices, and Gender Equality in Myanmar. With thoughtful layout and design, a dual language report and a series of seven executive summaries and a user-friendly dual-language website (previously RaiseTheCurtain.org, though no longer active) were presented with a unified design aesthetic.
